Razer Blade 15 Base Model Fan Buzz


I've had my razer now for about 3 months and my right fan now permanently makes a low pitch buzzing sound whenever it is on, and its very noticeable and annoying even when I increase or decrease the fan speed. In fact when I increase the speed it gets worse. I haven't dented or pressed it, and it doesn't seem to be a dust problem since I've already tried pressurised air. Anybody else having or had this issue and has a fix would be appreciated?! I would post an audio file but doesn't seem I can...

Can you send me a video of this via PM? You can just upload it on Google Drive and share me the link so I can view it myself. Please include your unit's serial number as well. I'll be waiting.

I got my blade in February and in the last couple days has started ti make sounds like this. Any luck fixing it??
Having the same issue here too, has got super loud now, Razer wont send out a spare fan or even let me buy one... What kind of enthusiast manufacturer is this?

I have received my new razer blade 15 base model since 5 weeks.
It works great except that suddenly, one week ago, without me noticing any drop or damage, the right side fan started to make a rattling noise that has been going on every time the right fan turns on.
This noise is terrible and disturb the people around me at the place i work.
Could you help me with this?



PS: Changing from Nvidia to "integrated graphics" in the control panel doesn't change anything.

Hi I am having the same issue. This is the second time I have had a faulty Razer Blade. Can somebody please assist?
i sent mine back to the shop i bought it from to get a replacement as the Razer support process was much too inconvenient. This meant i had no downtime.
For a fan part that would take 15 minutes to fix yourself at home its crazy that you must send it all the way to a Razer Repair Center.
I totally agree that the razer Blade support proposal (send computer to another country then wait to get it back after X days, X being too long and not precisely known) was crazy for such a well defined minor issue. They also refused to give me a merchant where i could buy the failing fan at my own cost.

I thus looked after a new fan and finally found this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000092931811.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.1f59336fWwyiR5 which i have now received (20 days to reach France) and installed and its working like a charm. ISSUE FIXED. The persons who sold it were very serious, asking me pictures and product numbers to make sure they are sending me the right product.
