Razer blade 15 GPU Issues

I bought a refurbished Razer blade 15 with a GTX 1060, I7 8th gen, 144hz display, and 16 GB ram.

I've been having issues with the GPU where when I try run certain applications (Synapse 3, GeForce experience) they all stop responding before it launches or will launch with some weird graphic glitches then crash.

Games also have this issue except most of the time I can't even get passed the main menu of a game before it closes without an error.

I haven't noticed anything else wrong with it and I've tried the following things:.
1. Updated video drivers.
2. Updated Intel video drivers.
3. Reinstalled windows and installed all updates.
4. Tried disabling the Intel GPU.

The power brick is also making a zapping sound when it's charging so I wonder if the charger screwed up the laptop somehow.

Has anyone encountered similar issues with their Razer blade 15?

Hi there! When did this start? What kind of glitch is it doing? Can you post a photo or video of it?

How loud is the noise? Can you share a video recording of it as well?

I'll make a video once I get home, but it has been happening since I bought it. Most of the time the glitch is either missing UI buttons, lines on the application window, or just a black window.
any update?

I decided to return the laptop since I had a limited window to do so. Never figured out what was wrong with it, but I'm assuming it had to do with the power supply
I'll probably have to do the same sadly 😕
