Razer Blade 15 keyboard not working.

I currently have the Razer Blade 15 2019 Advanced version and while I was using it, all of the keys and the lighting suddenly stopped working so I did a hard reset and now when I logged in, the ''z'' button doesnt work (I have to use the on screen keyboard to type it) and the caps lock indicator light is not showing too. I tried reinstalling the drivers, factory resetting, Installing Synapse 2 but it doesn't even recognize the laptop, recovery mode and still no hope. The mouse and keyboard lighting is now working fine though so I am really confused on what can be causing this problem.

Sorry to hear that, @dailySinopiaguide295! Can you send me the serial number of your Razer Blade 15 through PM? Kindly include the link of this thread. Let's continue from there.
Hi, have same issue.

The issue is around recent Windows 10 updates. The new drivers/working drivers do not work after installing recent Windows update, think it's 1803.

This issue is the same (maybe ongoing?) that has happened years ago , at least as far back as Oct 2017, to see it still around is unfortunate. I certainly can't recommend using Razer laptops in production / work enviornments.

See https://www.techradar.com/news/razer-laptops-reportedly-hit-by-major-issue-with-windows-10-fall-creators-update , it's a long standing issue.

Took up hours of my day to fix this, was done by by uninstalling recent Windows updates and/or using system restore. But unless Windows 10 updates are disabled, they will keep on being reinstalled. (You have to reg edit them off in W10). USB keyboards don't work, as it appears the non certified or otherwise not updated Razer HID driver is causing the issue, not a driver particular to the keyboard.

Oh , should mention, you'll likely need a Win 10 disc or thumb drive ISO, as you can't doing any trouble shooting without a keyboard of course. The keyboard works fine in BIOS, so it's definitely a windows driver issue.
