Razer Blade Battery life problem: solved

I hope this helps someone - I only signed up to post this.

I've seen loads of people reporting high battery discharge and battery lives of only 1.5 hours even with Power Saver turned on. I had the same problem but solved it:

For some reason once plugged in Razers switch to Performance mode but don't switch back when unplugged - and you can't set the performance in normal settings. This is what drains 50mw instead of 15! At least in my experience.

My solution was to turn off Battery Saver (otherwise you can't make changes) go to Start > type: Control Panel > select Hardware and Sound > Power Options > then select "Balanced". Then go back to "Settings" > System > Power & Battery > Best power efficiency. Then you can use Battery Saver again.

It's annoying to have to do but it worked for me. I hope Razer fix it soon!
