Hello everyone,
I am planning to buy my first ever Razer laptop in a short time and I have a question to anyone that already owns one. I will be getting the Razer Blade 15 and as much as I am excited about it I am terrified of scratches. Since it's matte black and with quite a lot of sharp edges I wanna ask how does the paint hold up after some time of use. Is the laptop easily scratched from basic use? Does paint on certain parts chip? It's a question that has been bugging me for some time and I'll be grateful to anyone that provides an answer.
Thank you to anyone in advance

i can't vouche for longevity as i just received my 2021 Razer Blade 15 Base.
I am coming from 20 years owning only MacBook Pros. And so far it is quite comparable.
The Blade is quite well built as far as i can tell. I did however put on a dbrand skin today, as my biggest complaint is the fingerprints! I am a very clean person, wash my hands 15 times a day and it still would collect so many fingerprints.
Here are some pics with the dbrand skin.

Looks great! I ordered the same skin for the 2021 advanced I just purchased.
One other approach to keeping the finger prints to a minimum is cleaning the laptop with a furniture polish of sorts. I used Endust and it's almost as though it applies a layer of "grease" that prevents fingerprints from showing up.
It's not perfect, but it is 1000x better than the factory finish.
