I purchased a Razer Book 13 on Saturday and immediately upgraded the SSD from 256GB to Samsung 980 Pro 2TB to make the most of PCIe 4.0
I did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro, downloaded the latest version of Synapse and installed the latest Intel XE graphics drivers, but I am consistently getting a BSOD.
Often the screen goes blank briefly and then returns when I am using the machine. The event viewer reports the following two warnings
Source: Dislay
"Display driver igfxn stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
Source: DistributedCOM:
"The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}
and APPID
{15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}
to the user DESKTOP-T09O7UT\\lucas SID (S-1-5-21-1893986226-772958104-3602191988-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool."

Hi there! Thanks for creating this thread. The replacement SSD should be re-imaged like the ones that came with the Razer Book 13. Please send me a PM together with your laptop's serial number that starts with "SN" or submit a case to our Support Team.
I've been using the Razer Book 13 for nearly 2 months now, and not a day goes by without the BSOD. It's not as bad as it was having updated to the latest Iris XE drivers, but I can honestly say I have never owned a more unreliable machine than this one and I wouldn't recommend its use for any critical work. I also own a Razer Blade Stealth 13 and it doesn't have the same problems as the Razer Book 13.
I upgraded the Stealth 13 to a WD Black 2TB Drive and the Razer Book 13 to a Samsung 980 Pro 2TB as these run less hot. I have the latest firmware for the Samsung SSD.
It seems the regular BSOD on the Razer Book is a common problem, and I really wish you would address the issue. It mainly occurs when the machine woken from sleep. Otherwise it appears to function normally off of fresh boot
