The title says it all. Razer cortex is not detecting osu! even though it is on the "supported games" list. I also tried adding the game manually through files but when I go to the specified folder, it doesn't show the exe to be able to add it onto cortex.

Hi there!

Thank you for initiating this thread. My name is Michelle from the Razer Cortex Technical Support Team. I will be here assisting you to resolve your issue.

After investigation, there are two scenarios that may cause this issue:

  • When our users add their game manually to the Cortex library, Cortex would not track its gameplay time. Please never add a supported game to the Cortex library manually.
  • When the game is launched by a third-party mod launcher, Cortex cannot scan and detect it.

If you have already added Osu to Cortex manually, please remove it first, then, add it by clicking the scan button. Please check the attached images to know the ways to add your game to the Cortex library.

Or you can launch the game without adding it to the library, just enable Cortex to process in the background. If Cortex can detect it, it will automatically add it to Cortex. You can check it in your library after doing this. When Cortex detects Osu, there will be an animation notification at the right bottom to let you know the items Cortex optimized for you. When you exit your game, Cortex will have a similar notification to let you know the restored items.

If this issue persists, please try to delete this game profile folder first
C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\GameManager\\Data\\rzr_userid, then, restart Razer Cortex and add it to your library by scanning.

If you launch a third-party mod launcher to start Osu, Cortex cannot detect it and scan it. In such a case, please uninstall it and download Osu from its official website. Then, add it to Cortex by scanning. Please never add it to your library manually.

Please feel free to PM us your Cortex logs if this issue persists after trying the above methods. I will PM you a guide on how to collect and upload your Cortex logs if you need my assistance.

We are sorry about the issue you encountered. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Your Technical Buddy,
Michelle Chang
