    Howdy folks!

I've got an active ticket on this issue, but I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue with their Iskur. In September, there was a loud POP from my base and suddenly my Iskur wouldn't stay level and would lean side to side like crazy. Thankfully, support got me a new base which I've been using until it started to have the same kind of issue a few days ago. The side-to-side isn't as drastic, but the chair will slope forward hard with light pressure ( 12 to 13 degrees last time I measured) and makes sitting for any more than an hour pretty uncomfortable. Of note, on this replacement base, the tension spring will not turn more than a few millimeters; but I'm not certain if that is the root cause or not.

I've read about other chairs having this issue due to plastic bushings inside of the base breaking around where the gas piston comes in. Has anyone else experienced this issue or something like it? I love the seat of my Iskur, but hot dang I am not a fan of these bases as I'm getting pretty wary of them going out pretty quickly.

After taking the seat plate off and removing the caster base from the gas lift, it looks like this breaks down to some broken welds! Most of the welds on this wouldn't have passed a high school shop class! I've attached them to my case so they can send it to their QA/QC teams because they the ones that are still "holding" look like lumpy caterpillars. I'm hoping this is a one-off issue.

  3. I have the same issue... Super disappointed with the quality of the "best chair on the market"

I've had my ticket opened since 12/21/2021 and have been told they located the replacement part for it; however, their logistics/warehouse team have yet to give them "feedback" about sending it out for close to a week now. I've now had 13+ people in Razer support see this ticket and address me in responses.

Since then I've had to use an old, wooden kitchen chair for work and gaming. My back and rear hurt with my patience nearly being gone with the responses of "We are still monitoring this ticket" nearly every day with no traction on this issue being resolved any time soon. I'm hoping this becomes a moment Razer support can show they can go above and beyond to make this right and renew my dwindling faith in the "By gamers, for gamers" motto.
