Razer Kracken for console headset. Microphone not recognised...
Bought my Razer Kracken for console last year. It was working perfectly for at least 6 months. It was plug and play with no issues. It seems that overnight, my laptop doesn't recognize the headset's microphone. I've tried to access system settings to reconfigure but the system isn't recognising that there is a problem or that there is even a headset connected! Any suggestions? Cheers

Try this.
Uninstall Synapse. Don't re-install it. Try Discord. Does your headset work? If yes then...
Install Synapse. Make sure that all voice-enabled apps like Razer Comms, Skype, Discord, in-game chat, etc. are turned off (are not even running in the task bar. Then go into Synapse for your headset and ensure that active mic noise cancellation is OFF. Only have this on if you are NOT using owe of these apps and make sure that those apps are not running when you toggle that switch in Synapse.
If that doesn't work, reach out to Online Mic Test Razer Support. Link is on the right of this page.

Hi there! Thanks for creating this thread. Have you performed what garrettpf1991 suggested? Also, try connecting the headset to a different computer or device with a 3.5mm port and check if the issue persists.
