Razer Kraken 7.1 v2 is recognised as CONEXANT USB AUDIO and does not appear on Synapse

Like the topic says, i noticed yesterday that my Kraken was recognised as CONEXANT USB AUDIO and it did not appear in Synapse 2.

I tried different usb ports, re-installing Synapse (clean uninstall), system restore to earlier point, uninstalling drivers via device manager and few other things and nothing has worked so far :\\

Anyone has any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

I have Windows 10 (latest updates) and Synapse 2.21.

Yeah it works but software is gone for me too. Well maybe this is a good thing since there is not going to be support for this in Synapse 3 so i can finally get rid of Synapse 2 :P

Do you use any virtual surround software with it now? I was thinking here would Razer Surround Pro or Windows 10's Sonic Surround, Dolby Atmos or DTS be better or something else?

My warranty had ended 4 months ago also 😞
the 7.1 v2's have built in surround so you cant use the surround software to make the headset work I already tried lol.

It is only stereo actually and if Synapse 2 would recognise the headset then you could apply virtual surround to it.

Razer Tiamat is the only Razer headset with real 7.1 as i recall.

It seems Razer Surround only works for analog devices but Windows Sonic for Headphones works great. One thing that sucks that there is not much to calibrate/configure but at least the headset works and i get spatial sound with it.

I haven't tested DTS Unbound since it's not released yet and Dolby Atmos cost's 18,99€ and i haven't purchased it yet but planning to.
bungiorno a tutti, ho un problema con delle razer tiamat 7.1 v2, si sentono malissimo, ho comprato una asus strix , ma il discorso non cambia... qualcuno gentilmente mi puo' aiutare?
