So I just bought myself a new headset and mouse for my Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, and while I was playing games, I noticed that my mic was not working, but the headset sounded great. So I go to my taskbar and look at the "sounds" and only the laptop speakers show up.
"Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio (SST))"
So before, when I plugged in headphones/ear buds, they would show up,
kinda like this: (but thats just a picture from google not my actual laptop.)
This is the whats showing up on my laptop currently:
So the headphones are currently plugged in but don't show up, and yes I've clicked "show disabled and disconnected devices."
Bluetooth headphones connect just fine and allow me to change back and forth between the regular speakers and the Bluetooth ones, but any pair of line in headphones/ear buds to the jack on the side of my laptop do not show up, but they still play sound when watching videos, playing games, etc. Can anyone tell me why and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

I have the same issue.
Hi! Does your laptop have a combo jack? ( supports mic in and audio )
