Razer Kraken TE - THX Spatial Sound does not work

Hello, I recently got the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition headset as a Christmas gift and have been having problems with getting THX to work. I have Synapse 3, I have followed the guide that comes with the headset, I have the Chat and Game devices and know how to switch between them and change the sound and everything, but when I switch to THX - Synapse as a default device and turn it on in CS:GO, no sound comes out. When I click the button on the sound bar a couple times though, a noise is suddenly heard, but then quickly stops and no sound comes from the device again. The same thing happens in CS - a sudden sound appears, but then quickly stops and the game freezes for a second or so. I've tried simple stuff such as rebooting and toying with EQ and Synapse and whatnot, but haven't found a fix.

Same issue here.

I am going crazy about this mess.
Please support, help us.
Troubleshoot sound problems. Select THX - Spatial Audio then skip then select no(audio enhancements), windows will say to restart the computer. Before restarting go to device manager and uninstall THX - Synapse audio, then restart PC.
Then go to add legacy hardware, sound, video and game controllers. Scroll down to Razer then reinstall THX -Synapse. You should hear audio now.

This method worked for me, if you want surround sound for other devices use the 7.1 surround app and code that came with your device.

So i only delete THX - Spatial driver but not the other 2 sound drivers that come with this headset? Also, you lost me on the legacy hardware as i dont even know where that is, but im guessing you mean razer synapse 2? And then add this headset there and reinstall the THX - Synapse?

You only need to delete "THX Spatial Synapse" on device manager. Legacy hardware is under the action tab when you highlight your pc on device manager.

P.S When you the driver is under "THX" on sound, video and game controllers.
I did it like you said in your text and now the th spatial audio is completely gone.....

Updated Instructions ** - If there is no sound coming through THX Spatial _ Synapse.
Remove USB controller from PC. Exit Razer Synapse and Razer Central.
Go to device manager and click on Sound, Video and Game Controllers.
Select THX Spatial _ Synapse. and Press Uninstall. **DO NOT Click delete driver software**👈
Once Uninstalled go to the Action Tab and Select Add legacy Hardware. Then select Manually install hardware
Click on Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Scroll down to THX, then install THX- Spatial Synapse Driver.
Restart PC, Log out then Log into Razer Synapse. Then Plug in USB Controller

If this doesn't work, just do a clean install again and use the headset without synapse.

You're a bloody Genius! Every time i reinstalled synapse (because it didn't work), the "THX spatial audio" playback device wouldn't install again. Apparently synapse only installs THX when it is the first time the headset is plugged into the system. After that the only solution was reinstalling windows. Now i got a better way, thank you!

Can i ask you if the Legacy Hardware version is the same? and do you know the reason of synapse being unable to reinstall its ownTHX playback device?

omg you saved meeeeeeee thank you so so much!
You can also do this:
1 - Uninstall Razer Synapse
2 - Start key + R, Type RegEdit, press enter, select LOCALMACHINE > Software > THX and delete the THX folder
3 - Reinstall Synapse

Driver version will be default version on USB, but will get updated with the next synapse update.
THX spatial audio comes with the Headset, so it can't be reinstalled via synapse if the driver is deleted.
