Razer Kraken Tournament Edition has lagging audio ONLY on my pc

Hi,

A few weeks back I ordered a Razer Kraken Tournament Edition headset and I haven't been able to get it functioning properly. The audio will lag/stutter/crackle pretty often and the sound also seems a bit dodgy in general. This is with THX on or off, doesn't make a difference. Here is a basic rundown of what I've found so far:

  • If I just plug the audio jack in without the USB audio controller I do not experience any audio lag, but the default EQ sounds dreadful (like I'm underwater) so this isn't really an option unfortunately.
  • This only happens on MY pc. I tested it on my brother's pc and my mom's laptop with the USB audio controller - everything sounded fine and there was no lag whatsoever.

What I've done to try and fix it:

  • Tried lots of different usb ports
  • Tried switching from Realtek High Definition Audio to the Windows High Definition Audio Device
  • Messed with a lot of different settings in Synapse
  • Uninstalled Synapse and deleted all the Razer folders including one in the Registry, then reinstalled
  • Updated audio drivers etc
  • Uninstalled only the THX audio driver

Nothing has worked at all. Note that this is the only headset that I've had trouble with on this PC. I have a Steelseries Siberia V2 as well and there are no issues with that, but as far as I can tell there isn't anything wrong with the Kraken because it functions fine on other PCs as I said.

Any ideas of how to go about fixing this? I'm pretty stressed by all of this and nothing is working. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks
