Razer Kraken Tournament Edition MN# RZ04-0205 Ear Cushion Fell Off

Hello everyone!

The left side ear cushion fell off and I cannot reattach it. I have looked online for hours and watched videos, but the "fixes" do not work for this model. A few videos have shown some sort of twisting to get it to detach, but that does not work either. I attempted this "twisting" (clockwise and counter clockwise) on the left side and it would not move. I attempted it on the right side nearly ripping the right side cushion off. That would not have been good. Please some direction. This is a bit maddening.

Thank you! :frown_:

The Kraken variant you have does not have a removable earcup that you can twist. Instead, the ear cushion is directly attached to the frame. It is a bit tricky but you can do something like this.

Thank you for the reply. Who within your organization thought it was a wise idea to have an ear cushion attach to a headset this way? 45 mins, 45 minutes! I have been trying to put it back on. The video is of little help. How do you insert a flimsy piece of material into an ever-thinning slot that continues to crumple up? The slightest pull to try and adjust it will pop the whole ear cushion off again. I guess I have to go back to Best Buy and return, for the 8TH TIME, a Razer headset. In this case because I cannot put a soft ear cushion back on. Don't you think after 8 different returns of Razer products I should go elsewhere? Very sad and disheartened.

I'm sorry that you had such a hard time. Maybe there is something wrong with either the ear pads or your headset but to be honest, most headphones are designed as such.
You are a very nice person and I appreciate your kind words. After many attempts, by a few people, we got it on. I really enjoy your products, but that just seemed so unnecessary. I suppose as they say “it is what it is”. Thank you for your kindness.

You did all the work but thanks for lopping me in. I'll be locking this thread as resolved.
