Razer Kraken Tournament Edition THX Surround don't work

Hello!
I bought a razer kraken tournament edition and the THX surround doesn't work.
I have the Razer Kraken TE plug in the jack of the thx case. When I desactivate everything but keep the Hearphones Razer Kraken TE activated in sound settings of windows it work nicely but in Stereo, :c and i want to try the surround sound so I tried to play like an hour in the windows settings to use the thx case but nothing work.
S.O.S Please help!

Hey there! Thanks for posting your concern here. Did you set your Razer Kraken TE - Game as your default device both in Windows settings and under Razer Synapse 3.0? Ensure "Kraken TE-Game" is set as the default device in Sound Properties > Playback as per below steps:

  • Launch Synapse 3 and select the headset from the dashboard.
  • Navigate to sound tab and click on open Windows Sound Properties
  • Right,-click on Kraken TE - Game and select Set as Default Device.
  • Check that Game/Chat balance on USB dongle hardware is set to mid.


Also, please set your set Razer Kraken TE - Chat as your default communication device and see how it goes.

Hi! So i already does this before and it change nothing I can't use the virtual surround sound. You know when I test on the razer synapse3 the surround work for only 2 point the front right and the front left (so this isn't surround it's still stéréo but it said i'm in surround).
So when the razer kraken TE is the Defaut Device it works only in stéréo and when I set in surround it work on stéréo.

That's quite odd. If you have set THX Spatial - Synapse as your default device but you're audio is still in stereo then that is something. Is the LED lit at the top-right corner of your USB audio controller? Please send me a PM together with a screenshot of your Windows audio properties and its serial number so we can take a closer look on it. Let's continue from there.
