Razer Mamba Wireless doesn't work while plugged in

Recently, I have not been able to use my mouse while it is charging. It doesn't register any clicks nor does it move at all. While wireless it works perfectly though.

I've tried updating the firmware/drivers but it doesn't seem to help. While using the Razer provided firmware updater it worked fine to detect it wirelessly when the dongle was connected but when I plugged the mouse in via the wire the text just changed to white but the update button is still disabled.

I don't understand what is wrong with it and I've tried searching for the solution to no prevail.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
