Razer Opus Intermittent Static in Left Ear with ANC enabled

I've tried resetting, connecting to different devices (two different PCs and an Android phone), wired and Bluetooth, firmware update applied.

After having ANC enabled for 17.5 minutes, I start getting noise in the left ear. If I reset ANC the noise goes away until another 17.5 minutes passes. I've noticed today that I can also clear the issue by briefly covering the microphone on the left ear but that "fix" lasts a much shorter time (around a minute).

This is a replacement set of headphones that I just received today due to the identical issue on the previous set. The issue occurs right out of the box.

The perfect regularity of the noise after resetting ANC is just bizarre. Is it possible to rollback the firmware update to see if that's the cause?

Update:

So, here's the timeline.

April 11 - Original product was shipped by Razer
April 14 - Original product received by me
April 16 - Ticket response from Razer to my issue with periodic left ear static.
April 17-18 - After being unable to resolve the issue I foolishly agree to Advanced Replacement
April 25 - Replacement product received (shipped from HK) and found to be defective in exactly the same way.
April 26 - New ticket submitted and refund request made
April 27 - Razer says it's been over 14 days and I can only get another replacement

I mean honestly it would be most cool if someone could just say, oh, that weird regular periodic failure of the ANC in the left ear is a software issue and we're aware and we'll be pushing and update, or sometimes debris gets into the ANC microphone during manufacturing, and you just need to blow it out, or it's something crazy in the house that only effects left ears and your house just isn't compatible with ANC!

I liked these and would love it if they just worked!

But I really don't want another Opus after having the same defect twice, and I sure as heck won't get conned into another Advanced Replacement, I think Razer having $400 of my money is plenty at this point.

Super sucks. I've been a Razer fan for a long time. This is my first real experience with CS. I guess I've been lucky enough that all of my other Razer products have worked great. Definitely leaves a bad feeling about future purchases.
