#RazerSwollenBattery I guess I hit the Lottery, 4 months after Warranty Ends.

Just another normal day for me, where I woke up, did my daily routine and head to my home office to get work done. Mid way while working, I heard a "Pop" sound followed by my Razer Blade Stealth 8550U 2018 black screen, as if it was disconnected from the power. That got me nervous, I inspect my Laptop just to find that the chassis is completely warped. There and then, I knew I struck the lottery, just like all the horror story I read about Razer Laptops with Swollen Battery.

Nice thin notebooks, from every company, are no reliable products for work. Or, completely not recommandable. It's a physical problem, that no one can overcome. At least when they are combined with gaming.
GPU + CPU with strong power needs cooling = impossible in thin design. So, don't buy such products.
If you want something for all, buy a not so comfortable and nice looking product, but a reliable working solution.

That is indeed unfortunate. A bloated battery should immediately get replaced so do you mind sending me the serial number of your Blade via PM? I'd like to verify the warranty status. I can also start a repair ticket should you opt to go that route.

I wouldn’t say that lottery, it’s kind Russian Roulette lol. Yeah that’s not only Razer laptops issues Dell has this as well especially on thin and light laptops. First to do is not using it on that condition, because it may effect other parts inside like bending things and the worst case is breaking motherboard. The best way to avoid this only by good thermal monitor, I’m not saying only cpu and gpu also pch, ssd etc which mostly brings heat to the laptop.
yayyyyy it's happening again. I tot it was only for blade pro 2017... razer fail. okie. no more razer for me. first my mamba wireless broke in 4 weeks, I complained it to Min Liang Tan fb page, then He blocked me.

Waiting for my blade rtx 2080mq to pop... wait, I already got the RAM failure bsod.

Please be advised that the sodium levels in the forums is strictly moderated. Yours is nearing a warning point. Should you need assistance with your Mamba Wireless and your RB15 2019, feel free to send me a PM. Will be locking this thread before everything goes sideways.
