Stuck below 60 FPS on Destiny 2

PC Razer Blade 15” with GTX 1060 with Max-Q design.

I recently jumped ship to PC with Destiny 2s Cross Save Function and at first I was limited to 30 FPS and updated my driver and now I’m stuck between 45-55 when playing. I have ensured the frame rate wasn’t capped in game and V-Sync is off but I don’t have my settings even on high and still stuck below 60 FPS. One of the reasons jumping over was to have a higher frame rate and better visuals overall but I’ve reach my limit on troubleshooting to try and figure out how to past this limit. Looking for help so I can thoroughly enjoy playing this on PC.
