Stuck in aptio utility loop

Hi,

My laptop froze, restarted and is now stuck in an aptio utility loop (keeps returning to aptio utility). I have read and tried a lot of solutions online but nothing has worked yet, eg: https://insider.razer.com/index.php?threads/aptio-setup-utility.55787/. I am stuck for options with all my work on the HDD I cant access.

OS: Ubuntu 18.04.
I am currently booting into Ubuntu from an external live persistent HDD. From here I can't access the internal HDD either.

Any ideas on whats caused this/solutions would be greatly appreciated.
