Support for out of warranty

Forum -- I could use some help. I got my laptop back without a battery and whenever I try to submit a case to get a battery re-installed, I'm told that it's out of warranty and I should make a comment here in the forums. Anyone have advice on how I can get a battery re-installed in the laptop? Going the official routes seems to go nowhere.

Where are you based? I think under California law Razer needs to offer support for devices something like 7 years from introduction. Even if you're not in California this should mean that you should be able to get parts etc.?

You mentioned laptop came back without battery, it came from where and why was the battery missing?
It had come back from Razer repair from an RMA. I had asked them to look at the left bank of USBs, as neither of them worked anymore (though the one USB on the right does). I was told that to fix them I would need to replace the motherboard, monitor, and battery. I thought that was silly for two USBs, so asked Razer to return it to me. It came back without the battery.

... wow

There've been several posts (on subreddits etc.) where users have complained about e.g. receiving back the wrong model back from Razer after sending things in for repair...

I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that. I'm sure this is all a big misunderstanding. Please send me your ticket number so I can review what previously transpired and give you a proper resolution this time around.
