soo I recently reinstalelled razer synapse after long time and I noticed it doesnt recognize my headset anymore at first I thought something is wrong but then I came upon reddit post that its not supported anymore only USB plugged devices I downloaded surround 7.1 but I cant find any activaction key for it I still have original box and all stuff included

I have the same the issue! I can’t seem to find any answers...
activation key is no where to be found...
is this headset simply not compatible ?
Nah the pro v2 uses razer synapse 2.0 and razer surround not the new 7.1 surround, also the new 7.1 surround code is only on the kraken x and the kraken 2019

I have the same problem, my products are already registered, and when I go down the razer synapse, it always asks for a new activation key, the first time the razer gave me. but recently I had problems with my computer, where I had to format, and I sent the new email to razer requesting a new activation code, where this time they did not give me. So I do not understand why register a product where when you download the progama, you always have to have a new code! Upset
After talking to support it looks like our Kraken Pro v2 isn't supported by software anymore. So, it's either shell out more money for a new headset (will its software be discontinued after I buy it as well?) or find 3rd party software to tweak settings.

I would love to be wrong here but I can't find the old Razer Surround Pro software that came with this headset.
Anyone got a solution for this?....i reinstalled windows and i'm having the same problem, i don't know if any of you've tried to downloand some external programs to let it work.
I had the same problem, you can download razer surround old from a external page. The installation of synapse 2 is automatic, after this the sofware update to recently version

Now at least I now know that our 2 Krakens in this household are not broken - just unsupported. Could we at least get a discount for new ones that are supported then?
Finally got my answer!! I thought my headset were broken or something happened with my windows, but its only not supported anymore. Sad! 😞
