Synapse 2 + Orbweaver Chroma


Hi everyone,

Bit late tot he party but I recently purchased an Orbweaver on ebay. I installed Synapse 2 and it was working fine until it updated. I keep getting a screen on Synapse telling me to register my product which I have.

The person I bought it from has no details as it belonged to her brother (was said in past tense - I suspect he isn't around anymore but didn't want to ask).

I was super excited to set it up. But now can't even get into the Synapse software which worked fine at first.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S
I'm fully aware I didn't purchase it from Razer, but I would expect it to work regardless.

I have this problem too.
I still searching for a solution, tried everything.
Windows 11 speaks driver not available
Have the same Problem.
Lot´s of Help here.
I have two Orbweaver and because of the F....ng Driver Problem both of them are Trash now.

The problem with Synapse 2.0 is that it's no longer supported, and it may not work on W11 correctly.

You don't need to register the device, it should be available in synapse once you plug in your peripheral.
If it's not available - replug it to some other USB port, be sure it's minimum USB 3.0 or above, do not connect it to USB hub, only direct port on your motherboard/laptop.

Also you can try to repair it this way:

  • Uninstall Synapse
  • Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  • Then restart your PC
  • After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).
