Synapse Issues

Hello!

Hoping someone can assist. I've been having issues with the Synapse software.

When I install Synapse 3 (or 2) my mouse starts lagging (jumping on the screen) and my audio starts crackling, stuttering and cutting out. Uninstalling and then rebooting fixes the issue. I've googled for solutions a bit and here's what I've done so far.

- I'm on Windows 10
- I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Synapse 3/2 (uninstalling through Add/Remove Programs and also with Geek Uninstaller)
- Tried updating my realtek audio drivers
- Changed the Polling Rate in Synapse to 500 (from 100)
- Change the audio rate to CD 16 bit, 44100 Hz
- Made sure any sound processing options were disabled
- Uninstalled some of the Asus audio software that I had installed
- Made sure no devices were set to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in Device Manager
- Removed any unneeded USB devices
- Tried multiple USB ports

Not sure what else to try at this point but I'd really like to be able to use the software with my Razer devices.

Huntsman Elite
DeathAdder Elite
Firefly Hard edition

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

i would go to 'msconfig' app in the run command first.
services, hide all Microsoft services.

Now once there are only installed services, disable them all.
reboot, check problem. if you have no issues great.
enable one of the previously disabled services, reboot. check again.

Its a slow process, but its pretty much going to be one of those services ruining the show. you just have to find it.

If you are impatient, you can split the services list in two and enable only one half.
id go the long method though
Hi poly,

Thanks for the suggestion. I disabled everything, the only services enabled would be the Microsoft services, Razer Game Manager, Razer Synapse Service and Razer Central Service.

Unfortunately the issue persists even when doing that. 😞
