Upgrading Razer Blade 2020 Storage

Hey,

I recently bought a Razer Blade 2020 Base (RTX 2060), but the 512GB SSD is insufficient for me.

I thought this 1TB Samsung SSD might be a good choice. It got faster read and write specs and Samsung is known for good storage.

But I'm not sure whether installing the OS on the larger and faster SDD or keep in on the slow one.

If I decide to move the OS to the new SSD I'm also not sure how it should work.

Did you guys get any idea what's the better choice?

This samsung will be good.
It depends on your preference if you keep your OS on old disk. I always do smaller SSD for OS/some apps, and larger for the rest of data.

If you decide to move OS, you can acutally do a 1:1 copy with Clonezilla for eg. or Acronis Tools. But I'd do a clean os install if you have small ammount of apps and other settings to reconfigure after clean install.
It doesn't matter what OS the SSD is on, as long as its on an SSD, boot times will be really fast. The read and writes speeds of SSDs don't significantly affect the boot times into windows so I wouldn't worry. The differences are basically non-existent.
So I guess it won't be worth it to move or re-install the os. Think it's the best solution to use the TB for Games and the 500 GB for the OS, personal data and Programs.
