VLC 3.0.5 (macos) and newer crashing with Razer SW assertion error

Since updating VLC to Version 3.0.5 and newer on my macOS 10.14.2 machine with a Razor Manowar and Synapse SW, it keeps crashing with some weird error (extract of crash):

This only happen on the machine where I have the Synapse softwate installed.
