My System : Razer Blade Advanced Pro 2019 Laptop - RZ090288 Mercury White

So I decided to force update to the the new windows 10 May update experience since Microsoft is pushing it out to users slowly. Well, that was a bad idea. Now my Razer laptop wont connect to Wifi (well it connects, but it says "No Internet" but gives me an ip address). I have tried to connect it on a few routers that my other laptops connect to just fine, and it won't give me any internet, says connected, but no internet (gives me a good ip address). My iPhone connects just fine to the internet on all the other routers as well, so it's definitely the intel driver or something with the may 2020 update on the razer.

In Device Manager, the update has the following driver:

Intel Wireless-AC 9560 160Mhz

Driver Properties

Intel
date - 2/13/2019
driver version - 20.120.1.1

I went ahead and downloaded the latest from intel's website and those also did not work.

anyone have a solution?

Ok, I fixed it.... I definitely recommend uninstalling your VPN before you jump in and do the update.

Also, goto Intel's website and make sure the latest drivers are running (mine show 5/4/20 ver 21.90.3.2)

If you didn't uninstall your VPN prior to doing the update and are getting the same issue, uninstall it and reboot and also remove the remnants of your vpn from VPN settings (type VPN in the search bar in windows 10 and it will bring up the vpn settings).

I use Windscribe VPN and uninstalled it and my internets are working just fine.

So I just reinstalled Windscribe after the internet worked, and windscribe now runs fine.
