Yeah I am also intresting in this, because if Razer just add it to there latest 250€ Keyboard it was my latest Razer Product, because the V2 is technical identical with the V3.

Same question for me. I bought huntsman v2 like 4m ago and honestly, it would be unwise to buy another 250 euro keyboard after such a short time.

Any statement from Razer on this topic ?

Yeah, I’m in a similar situation. Just bought the V2 a view months ago and I will not pay 250€, to practically get a firmware update. Wooting provided this feature to all of their keyboards including those 7 years old within 24 hours. I can guarantee, if everyone in the shooter scene plays with this feature, I will too but it will not be on a Razer V3. And to make this clear, I like the Razer products but I don’t like squeezing money out of customers.

Synapse 4 (just released) has supposedly added Snap-Tap to all Razer keyboards.

No sorry it's just Rapid-Trigger which is also in Synapse 3, the Snap-Tap is still exclusive to
Huntsman V3

That’s disappointing. The email they sent out is not clear, and a bit misleading.

Be sure you have the newest Synapse 4 update (Synapse 4.0.86.2409200802 in my case) - I have Snap Tap available on Huntsman TE, so it should be also available for the newer V2 models.

This is the screen where normaly the SnapTab is listed based on the screenshots on https://www.razer.com/technology/razer-snap-tap

Also, make sure you’ve updated the firmware on your KB. Looks like the list was updated last week with new updates.

Edit: sorry, last Huntsman V2 Analog update was September 2023

I am on the latest version with the FW since September, 2023

If someone has a Huntsman v2 and have the SnapTab feature let me know, but not sure from where the info come that this is now supported on the v2, The Synapse 4 has a lot of other issues, I have 3 open Tickets with Razer, but they did not reply on the Question of SnapTab, they request just Log files…..

So current situation, SnapTab is just for the V3 and Synapse4 is a mess.

Snap Tap has been made available for a lot of other keyboards now when using Synapse 4, and will follow for the V2 Analog and others soon.

Check their “Supporting soon” tab on their supported Snap Tap page.
