blackwidow elite digital knob for mute and volume no longer works

good day unfortunately the digital knob doesn't work when synapse 3 is running. i can't adjust the volume with it and the mute button doesn't work either. as soon as i deactivate the synapse software, the knob works again and also the mute button works. in the synapse software i did not find a setting that solves my problem. if i assign the knob with the functions title forward and backward, the knob works and also the mute button works again but when i set the knob back to the default volume setting, the knob and the mute button no longer work. Since the knob and the mute button used to work before, I assume that the problem has occurred since the last synapse update i have installed synapse version 3.5.610.60513
