Blackwidow Elite - key colours - yes again, the issue doesn't go away

Ok team, I like the rest of the keyboard owners, love the mechanical keyboard - I had recycled IBM keyboards for as long as they worked!!! I have a new work laptop that does not let me install any non-authorized applications, I can cope with that, but I can't cope with multicoloured keyboard lights. Surely there is a way of sending codes down to the keyboard to change all the colours to white? So what codes do I need to send to the keyboard, and how can I get them to the keyboard?
