Hi,

My keyboard is almost new, i own it about 3 months. Today my battery dropped to 10% so i decided to charge it. However, at first it didn’t charge at all, then synapse showed me 100% battery level while connected by wire, then i unpluged it and the level dropped to 10% again. I already tried updating firmware, re-installing synapse, checked the wires, dongles and etc. Nothing helped.

Hello everCoolBlackbay245,

I’m here to help! I understand that the the keyboard is showing 100% while it’s wired and then immediately dropping back to 10% when you unplug it. Allow me to ask a few questions to isolate the problem.

  • Has the keyboard ever charged normally before, or is this the first time you’ve tried charging it down from a low battery?
  • When did the issue start occurring?
  • When you’re using it wired at 100%, does everything (keys and lighting) work as expected?
  • Are you connecting it directly to your PC’s USB port, or through a hub/extension?
  • Have you tried charging your keyboard using a different USB Port from your computer?

Please also try these steps if you haven’t already:

  1. Power the keyboard off completely and unplug it for about 1–2 minutes.
  2. Plug it directly into a USB port on your PC (not a hub) and use a different USB‑C cable if you have one.
  3. Leave it connected and charging for at least 2 hours, even if Synapse quickly shows 100%.
  4. After that, disconnect the cable and check if the battery percentage in Synapse still drops straight back to 10%.

If the behavior is the same after those steps, please send me a  PM me your keyboard’s serial number, your region and proof of purchase so I can verify its warranty. Thanks!
