Hello,
I am using a Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8K keyboard and I would like to report a possible issue with the CapsLock key actuation.
In Razer Synapse, I have set all keys to an actuation point of 0.1mm.
Most keys respond correctly at 0.1mm.
However, the CapsLock key behaves differently:
-
In Synapse, CapsLock is also set to 0.1mm
-
In actual use, the key only registers input at around ~2.0mm
-
This behavior persists even after rebooting, changing profiles, and saving to onboard memory
Because of this, there is a mismatch between the UI setting and the actual behavior.
I would like to ask:
-
Is the CapsLock key intentionally limited by firmware design?
-
Or is this a known issue (bug) with Synapse or the keyboard firmware?
-
Is there any fix or firmware update planned for this issue?
Additionally, I would like to respectfully request the following:
If this limitation is intentional, would it be possible to allow advanced users to disable or override this restriction?
In my case, CapsLock is not used for its default toggle function.
It is remapped to another key for gaming purposes, so it does not affect Windows behavior or typing functionality.
Because of this, having full control over the actuation point—even for CapsLock—would be extremely helpful.
I believe giving users the option to remove such restrictions (even as an advanced setting) would greatly improve flexibility and user experience.
Thank you very much for your support and consideration.
Best regards,
