[Critical Issue] Key Drift Error on Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL

My Razer keyboard is the Huntsman V3 Pro TKL. On the first day of using it, everything seemed normal except for the W key when playing Valorant. My actuation setting was 0.1mm, and I had Rapid Trigger set to 0.1mm for the W, A, S, D keys.

However, in the following days while playing, I noticed that when pressing other keys, the W and D keys would sometimes activate on their own. When I tested it by simply typing, I also experienced key drifting with W and D, even when I wasn’t pressing them.

Is this a defect or an issue with the keyboard?

In the case where I set the Actuation to 0.1mm, only the W and D keys encounter errors.

anyone have an update to a fix? Or is it the physical hardware

hii this is late, but I wanted to share that I have the razer huntsman mini- the problem seems to be with synapse. I uninstalled it for a day- no issues, no drift, no input weirdness. Reinstalled it the next day- instant input weirdness and drift, I’m not even kidding, like 5 minutes after reinstalled. So I’m keeping synapse uninstalled, I’m not worried about profiling and syncing as the only RGB device that I have from razer- is the keyboard, but this can be problematic if you require lots of RGB syncing and customization.

 

Also worth noting, my wife has the hello kitty ornata V3, uses synapse and doesn’t have these issues. So it may be something with the huntsman series and synapse? I’m unsure, but either way for me, no synapse = no drift.
