Does Hyperspeed USB dongle work with Linux?

I have a dual boot window/ubuntu PC and was wondering if I pair the dongle to a Blackwidow V3 Pro using Windows, will it work when I boot into Linux? Does the dongle need a device driver, or is it a HID compliant device? Will my keyboard allow me to use my boot menu before it runs the OS?

It'll run flawlessly, as a "generic" wireless keyboard. For linux there is an openRazer project, so you can configure your keyboard (not all settings, but it's always good to have some things, than none to configure): https://openrazer.github.io/

Thank you so much. I've investigated the openrazer project, good stuff
