I really despise the Razer software suite. I've always felt it was clumsy and lacking compared to competing software, but this newest iteration is just a dumpster fire. That it is a cloud based "solution" just makes it worse and creepy.
How much functionality can I expect to have if I never use the software? What about if I just install it once to do some initial set up and then uninstall said software? Is this programable without the use of the software (like with a Vortex Pok3r)? Can profiles be created with the software, stored on memory, and then used without the software due to completely removing every trace of it (like with an Anna Pro 2)?

Without the Synapse 3.0, the keyboard will just be an ordinary keyboard.
But eventually, if you are using Windows, it will automatically install the Synapse through the internet.

No such thing is a 100% perfect satisfactory of consumer product/s
Every consumer products compared to their competitor or predecessors have its advantages and disadvantages, ups and downs, goods and bads, likes and dislikes. It is just a matter of how you like to accept it is a question.
Complain and move to the one you really want, or see the good side of consumer products and learn to enjoy it.
