I am experiencing what appears to be the same issue reported by other Huntsman V3 HE users after the latest firmware update.
Keyboard: Razer Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic Tenkeyless 8KHz
Model: RZ03-0592
Firmware: 1.02.0_r1
Since installing the latest firmware, the keyboard randomly becomes completely unresponsive during gaming. All key input stops registering, but the keyboard remains powered and the RGB lighting stays active.
The only way to recover it is to physically unplug the keyboard from USB and reconnect it.
I have reproduced the issue in multiple games, including Call of Duty and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, so it does not appear to be game-specific.
The keyboard was stable before this firmware update. I was previously using 4000 Hz polling and have also tested at 1000 Hz while troubleshooting.
Other users appear to be reporting a very similar failure pattern after the same firmware update, so this may be a firmware regression rather than an isolated hardware or USB issue.
Could Razer please escalate this to the firmware/software team and confirm:
- whether this is a known issue with firmware 1.02.0_r1
- whether a hotfix is being investigated
- whether an official rollback to the previous firmware is available
I am happy to provide Synapse logs, system information, or any other diagnostics that would help reproduce the issue.
