Just as the title says. I made a YouTube video showing what is going on and seeing that Synapse is NOT saving the adjustments you make. As mentioned in the video, even pressing FN + Tab to adjust on the fly will still default to 1.2mm instead of whatever adjustment you made.
Looking around online, I’ve seen a few posts on Reddit and on here discussing the issue, but there has yet to be a fix for it? The only thing that is being recommended is to reinstall Razer. Before a mod comments suggesting what to do, here is what I’ve already done:
- Reinstall Synapse
- Reinstall Synapse following Razer Guide
- Using Drive Clean Up Provided by Razer
- Resetting the device via the “?” in Synapse
- Using guest mode on Synapse
- Using an account on Synapse
- Tested on Windows 10/11
- Tested on 2 other desktops and my laptop
- Reformated my computer
- Tried my brother’s Huntsman V3 Pro on my setup
- Tried adjusting via FN + Tab
- Tried Synapse Web Beta
- Tried Synapse V3
- Tried Synapse V4
- Updated keyboard firmware
- Used a different user account in Windows
- Replaced keyboard 3 times at Microcenter
After all that, the actuation settings I adjusted STILL do not save no matter what I do. I’m so lost and upset. The main selling point of this keyboard is the instant response time from barely touching a key and that feature doesn’t even work. Please review the YouTube video I made below and tell me what you think the issue is.
