- We should make a poll to make them allow us to change the F10 Game mode On WHITE BRIGHT to another color ,
Issues With Black Widow V4:
1 - F10 Key - Bright White.
- color can not be changed.
- It’s brightness is set to max
- With brightness set to 0% it’s still on and for a wireless keyboard it’s not a good thing even if the consumption is small long term it affects quality
2. Updating Keyboard to latest firmware.
- After Updating the firmware of the keyboard after just buying it the battery on the display shows 18% and i have it plugged for 18h now not sure if it's a Firmware bug or the battery is not charging
3.It breaks the purpose of having custom colors. if one key is persist above all else specially in the one thing users bought it for “ Gaming “
Recommendation:
Implement a software menu for keyboard so the user can switch from Gaming Mode to Non Gaming mode using the little knob and wheel on the side .
If the user lowers the Brightness to 0% at least dim the light of the F10 key according to the users light preference if the color can not be changed thus increasing a wireless keyboard usage instead of lowering it with one LED at 100% regardless of the users preferences.
Overall
the chroma works nice and easy to change colors ..WHY not that one specific ?? ..
Fix the software for battery display or am I having issues with the battery once i was forced to update the keyboard software..
other than that it’s a well built keyboard and I like it but unfortunately it lacks on support and the issues above should be addressed
