i am using a black widow chroma v2. can i use lowercase character keys for a specific macro purpose and uppercase character keys for a different macro purpose? e. g., "a" key macro runs forward. "A" key macro dodges.

Are you asking if you can make 2 macros, and then have one macro fired when you press A, and the other when you press Shift + A?

one macro fires off when you press lowercase A or a. the other macro fires off when you press uppercase A or A. Example keystroke script: 1. assume caps lock is off. 2. press a - macro 1 fires off. 3. press caps lock to enable uppercase letters. 4. press A - macro 2 fires off.

I don't THINK you can do that, no. But with the BlackWidow Chroma v2 you SHOULD be able to use the Hypershift feature and set 2 different macros to the A key. One for when it's being used normally, and the other for when Hypershift is active. Alas, I don't have a v2 BlackWidow, but if I get some time, maybe I'll try it with my Tartarus v2 and let you know what I find.
