Ornata keyboard won't accept CTRL function from mouse

Just connected a new keyboard and programmed all of the functions for gaming I want on it and my Roccat mouse, but it won't allow the mouse side click to be the CTRL function. Why? Help please?

    my ornata works fine when i got this keyborad i did not know what to do with it untill 20 day ago i know how to work with this fing
