I love the video's Razer do to launch their products . This is just another top quality keyboard. I still use my Blackwidow V2 im still not sure what the next step-up should be . There are so many to choose from
The ornata is my top recommendation for a comfortable typing experience for both productivity and gaming. I fell in love the first moment I got to try one at PAX and it's been my daily driver since it arrived in the mail afterwards.

If you're not a fan of massive travel or clunky keys these are the best clickiest bois around.

That said my keyboard has had the S key lose its click after several years of use, alongside the wear. I'm satisfied given how much I've used it though so I'll be getting this shortly...
This keyboard still has FAT junk keys which are literally UNUSABLE for me...

Give me a DeathStalker Expert/Chroma that has the padded handrest, and is Mechanical, but keeps EVERYTHING else about the Deathstalker exactly the same, i.e. remaining Chiclet, and we will have something I can be behind.

You all clearly don't work in an "office" environment in which people TYPE for a living.
We in offices have been using Chiclet forever, thus going back to the Stone Age with big fat keys is NOT good for us.

I am actually going to pick up my Ornata Chroma keyboard today at Gamestop! I am very excited, and I must be very honest I didn't buy Razer products for the longest time, mainly because of lack of funds and lack of knowledge and experience on the best quality of products, but I am happy to acknowledge that it took one product for me to buy finally, and now I will buy everything from Razer, of course there are competitors, but Razer covers all of the wants and necessities of the consumer that they sale too. Razer is the best!
My GF loves it a lot and I actually have only one negative Thing About it.

The "White" board below the keys which is used to diffuse the Illumination from the LED's is not cut as perfect as it is for instance on the cynosa chroma pro -- if you look at it from above you see where the plate Ends, while with the cynosa chroma pro it goes all the way below the "casing" of the Keyboard.

For one Thing I'm slightly overcritical regarding build Quality and Looks but also it's a bigger issue on this Keyboard regarding dust and dirt and keeping it clean. Yes, nitpicky Maybe, but even if you try your best it'll get dirty and here the cynosa is far easier to Keep clean than the ornata (and it just Looks better if the "diffusor plate" doesn't stop around the keys but Looks like it's integrated into the casing).

Also …. my biggest "issue" is, you still didn't give me a LycosaV2 😕 …. I used up 4 of them and my last one is falling apart at the Moment and no other Keyboard was a "real" replacement for it. I just loved the feel and everything About it. For gaming I use my TartarusV2 anyway, but for typing…. it was just the best. But you can't buy it anywhere anymore and even though it feels like you release at least 3-5 Keyboards a year this design was never "updated" 😞

Sweet. Great up dates to it.
I love razer ornate chrome but v2 looks sick
How do you control the backlite and other functions? I can control the brightness but can't choose color or theme. The wheel only does volume and I can't bind it to something else.

You'll need to get the Razer Synapse software and configure it through that: https://www.razer.com/synapse-3

Thanks; they need to make it easier to figure that out. I downloaded the booklet suggested software which was essentially advertisements for the keyboard.

In my experience with other Razer products its prompted to install synapse when first plugged in.
i have a problem with the keyboard. i bought one just today and i unboxed it, but when i went and tried the synapse 3 programs, the light changing system doesnt seem to be working. i dont know if its bec my laptop isnt exactly top of the line or is there something else?

You'll need to look into how synapse 3 works - it can be a little confusing at first programming your keyboard. I'd recommend watching a quick video that demonstrates it!
very cool but my blackwidow is still my favorite

Hello friends

I use a Razer Ornata chroma keyboard.
The new V2 version looks really good.

The big advantage of this keyboard, it remains relatively silent and its magnetic wrist rest is really comfortable.

But if I were to buy a new keyboard, I think I would test the new optical switch on the Razer Huntsman Quartz edition.

Then you could just have a giveaway from your older version of keyboard
