My Razer Blackwidow V3 Keyboard stopped working for the second time this year. I have read all the other discussions and tried multiple ways suggested not only in the Razer Community to solve this issue. It disconnects and reconnects constantly or just does not connect at all. I will try to list the basic stuff at least that I tried: unplug it for a while, plug it in different usb stots, in device manager made every usb driver to always work rather than “<...> save power”, deleted everything related to Razer, updated everything possible, downloaded synapse 3 again and when it did not work after again deleting everything downloaded synapse 4, I wanted to update the keyboard firmware but am unable to do it because it constantly its disconnecting and reconnecting or connected (based from the chroma effect and the fact that I can see indicators change when clicking on numpad or capslock) but my pc does not see it as a device or when it does then synapse (3 or 4) does not see it, if its not in this state, then its completely dead and sometimes out of nowhere starts to do what I just said or it starts to disconnect and reconnect but it lags out that if I press on the numpad (I have my numpad always on) the indicator does not turn off and its just stuck in one color effect not even it playing the way its supposed to, if its stuck in that position, I can shut off my pc and it will turn off as well and when you turn on the pc again even after a day, the keyboard will turn on in the same stuck mode.
The first time this happened, I tried everything I mentioned and more, now I don't even know what to do. I know you wonder how it started to work, basically I bought a simple 15 euros keyboard of Amazon, plugged it in while the Razer Blackwidow V3 Keyboard was plugged in too, the moment I did that, the Razer keyboard from being completely dead started to licht up and work, now after few mounts it started to malfunction again, tried this again and it does not help anymore.
I for sure did not mention everything, but I been using Razer for a very long time and Its not my first keyboard from them, I also have a headset and a mice right now from Razer that work just fine and I hope they will for a long time, but now I am rethinking if I made the right choice. First keyboard from Razer I broke myself from my clumsiness and because everything else was working so good,I thought okay I will buy everything Razer to match because I never had a Razer mice. The last keyboard probably would still work if I have not ruined it. But this one is just disappointing me all the time and its not like there are many other option (models) to choose from Razer if you want a mechanical keyboard that is full sized. I still have my Razer KRaken headset that uses the old old Razer app, its probably over 10 years old and looks a bit scuffed but it works just fine, so I do not know what to blame now, the only thing that is different from my other Razer accessories about the keyboard is that, its my newest buy from them and I bought it in the Netherlands (I would think that it should be even better, I know that they are all made in China but still), when everything else was bought in Lithuania and most likely is imported from Poland.
I tried to connect it to my laptop to see if maybe my PC has something to do with it, I tried the same stuff mentioned before on my laptop to see if anything changes, but same stuff was happening with it, so yeah…
Right now its in the “dead” state,my Pc does not see it even as a device. Maybe the time for it came but then I will say this I am not made from money and even if I was, I do not want to buy a product that cannot last over two years when its been taken care for very well, not only for the money factor but just plastic waste.
I am open for suggestions for a new keyboard from any other brand that would be wired (usb), full size, mechanical, black, and would have some lighting effect. Preferably maximum 100 euros, I am not willing to spend more like I did before.
I hope that this helps somebody or somebody can help me, THANK YOU, no joke, VERY MUCH to whoever will answer.
