Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro Issues
Hi. I have a Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro with green switches. I will start by saying that I love this keyboard!! I have had it for about 9 months, now, and when I type it responds with extra characters like I hit the key 2, 3, or 4 times. I followed all of the steps, for cleaning the keys, and it still does it. I returned the original one (thinking that I just had a bad one) and the replacement has started doing the same thing. I really love this keyboard, but now, I even have problems logging into games, as it does multiple strokes on my passwords. A keyboard that is this expensive should at the very least, type. I generally use it corded, so it is not a wireless issue. Can anyone give me some suggestions on what I need to do to fix this? I really love this keyboard, but if I can't do typing on it that is a non-starter. I had to grab my old Corsair keyboard to type this. At this point I am feeling like I need to find a completely different keyboard. Please, someone, HELP!!!! 0

Sithdoom10Recently I found out about a software issue. Try to close(exits all apps) and re open Razer Synapse from the taskbar on the right corner if you are using Windows (not sure if it's mac)

Exactly the same issue. However I've been able to fix it, pull the key cap, blow compressed air into the switch while pressing rapidly...I didn't believe it would actually work, but low and behold. So far it's been fixed.
There's also a firmware update on their website for this that was released last week. However, the download link is broken I've put in a request to support to fix the link so who knows. If anyone has the new firmware update for the v3 pro they can share on the link that would be fantastic because the razer link in the description ends up pointing to the ten key version.
Looks like they have fixed the link to the firmware, so I am going to try that.

EdwardSMaTeresaI I got a similar problem, I could not use my keyboard (there's no light and i cant type) and it shows in the synapse 3 that my keyboard is conneting the system. For the first few days, i could use it and without the RGB light. I tried to re-install the synapse, and fixed the problem. However, after 3 days the problem came again and i cant solve it with the same method. Right now, i cant even type on the keyboard, connacting with Type - C cable. And my windows keep having the connect and disconnect sound for my V3 keyboard.
I have similar issue, I bought my keyboard from BestBuy in mid-January and today it started acting up. The issue I have is that whenever I press and hold a certain key(ex: when I press w to move forward in a game my character would move forward for 1 second and then stop moving while the w key still being pressed) and whenever I type something, it doesn't register certain keystrokes, it's really frustrating. I had this product literally for 5 weeks. Thankfully, I had geek squad protection plan so I'm gonna go and see if I can get it replace or refunded. I've seen people having lots of issues with this product, I suggest if you still trying to buy this despite the issues, buy some type of warranty along with it. fyi, I'm a big fan of razer and I've used razer product for 10+years. I still have my razer black widow ultimate and taipan battlefield addition from 2013 as back up and it's still working just fine. Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed with product.
