Hello headCarrotOrangezone764,
I understand you are facing an issue with your Razer DeathStalker V2 that is recognized by your PC and Razer Synapse, but none of the keys work except for the volume scroller. When you connect the keyboard to the PC and open Razer Synapse, are there any error messages or alerts indicating a problem with the keyboard configuration? Does the issue persist across different USB ports and systems, or is it isolated to a particular setup? Please consider the following troubleshooting steps to resolve your keyboard issue:
-
Ensure that the USB ports on your PC are functioning correctly. Try using different USB ports to test the connection.
-
Ensure that the Razer DeathStalker V2 Firmware is up-to-date.
-
Open Razer Synapse and check if there are any specific settings or profiles that might be disabling the keys. Reset any custom configurations to default.
-
Disconnect other peripherals to rule out any potential conflicts with the keyboard. Sometimes other connected devices can interfere with the keyboard’s functionality.
-
Connect the keyboard to another PC to determine if the issue is with the keyboard itself or your current PC setup.
- Try to reset the keyboard:
- Unplug the keyboard.
- Press and hold "Escape" and "Caps Lock" keys.
- Plug the keyboard into a USB port.
- Release all keys.
-
Check if a software is causing the issue by closing all Razer apps and other keyboard configuration software.
-
If closing Razer Synapse fixed the issue, reinstall your keyboard drivers, and perform a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse.
-
Connect the keyboard to another PC to determine if the issue is with the keyboard itself or your current PC setup.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, send me a PM with your device serial number and request a copy of your invoice for warranty validation. You can upload it to Google Drive and set the privacy to "Public" or “Anyone with the link” so we can view it. Thanks!
