Razer Huntsman V2 Linear Keyboard Suddenly Dead

I received this keyboard yesterday (purchased used from eBay), and everything worked fine. I set it up in the Synapse app, played games for a while, and left my computer on overnight to download a game.

This morning, the keyboard was seemingly dead: unresponsive, no lights, and not recognized in Windows. I plugged a different keyboard into the same USB port, and it worked fine. I tried the Razer keyboard on several, working USB ports in my gaming PC, and it still did not work.

I then plugged the Razer Huntsman into three other other computers, and it did not work on any of them, meaning it has failed to work on four different computers.

I tried to factory reset the keyboard several times by unplugging the keyboard, pressing ESC + CAPS LOCK + SPACE BAR, then plugging it back in and releasing the keys. But that does not do anything.

I have never had a keyboard randomly die like this. Any thoughts or suggestions, or does it appear the keyboard is simply gone?

My Razer Huntsman V2 Linear Keyboard just died yesterday, same story. Hard reset does nothing.
I bought it 8 months ago from Amazon.

I never had a keyboard just die like this. No clue what the cause is.

For this price range, it should not be so short-lived.

I can return it to Amazon, hopefully your keyboard has some guarantee

my blackwidow v4 pro just died today it was working just fine yesterday. turn off laptop to go to sleep , wake up this morning turn on laptop and the keyboard wont light up or register anything , yes tried the hard reset all and it didnt work. another 3 weeks it would have been full 2 years. Seems like a lot of my razer products always randomly die outside of warranty.

Happened to my basilisk v3 last year as well didnt drop it or anything , just turn off laptop , turn on next day doesnt work anymore. Seems like there is a killswitch. My alienware keyboard and mouse from 20 years ago still works and i use them much longer than any Razer products.
