I have a BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 Edition, and I want to change some of the movements. I downloaded the software to it. And I have downloaded the Customize app, but it says it's still not connected. But I don't understand why so?

Download Synapse 2.0: https://www.razer.com/synapse-2
BW Ultimate 2016 is not supported by newer Synapse 3.

Hello, I have created the following thread, if you want a solution that require less cleaning.
The use of silicon cover. If it helps.

In my opinion of experience

Any liquids that are loaded with sugar, it will always leave that sticky stain that will make the key press feel very depressing.

Solid food bits can easily be swept away with a bit of motivation and a paint blush, but you do not want to leave it for too long, other wise it can leave a stench (depending on what kind of food it is)

If you have very sweaty hands and leave excessive dried sweat marks, than option of removing individual caps and cleaning with cloth and liquid sure is frustrating.

Many tech hardware manufacturers use the phrase "water proof" saying it will not be damaged and can be used for cleaning, but it is just an advertisement and should not be taken as consideration.

In conclusion it is up to each individuals to maintain their products, but how you maintain it, is a question. It really sucks when you face a product defect due to aftermath of food stains etc; so some measures of silicon cover can be a solution for a long term less cleaning solution and for better maintenance.

Also when it comes to cleaning, your time and investment towards cleaning sure creates character.
