Razer Keyboard Widowmaker x v4. Keys are double typing or not working.

So as a razer fan boy i bought this keyboard to add to my collection. Well this is by far the worse keyboard i have ever owned.

 

The Keyboard gets about 3-7 hours of use a week, max

 

Question ***  Its beeen ovver a year from my purchase, and i was hoping i could maybe replace the switches?

yes i tried cleaning, contacting support, updating software , switching USB ports and telling the kyboard (cmon man!) nothing has changed, but growing frustrations when i get canceled mid sprint playing Tarkov.) 

^ (thats how it works lol, playing games on this keyboard is a headache, or writing emails to my boss)

If cleaning, reinstalling Razer Synapse, and switching ports didn't work, your Razer BlackWidow V4 X may have a software conflict or hardware wear on the switches. The Razer BlackWidow V4 X features traditional mechanical switches rather than hot-swappable ones, meaning it relies on precise hardware inputs. Try the steps below: 

 

  1.  Unplug the keyboard from your PC.
  2. Press and hold down the ESC, CAPSLOCK, and SPACEBAR keys simultaneously.
  3. Plug the keyboard back into the USB port while holding those keys.
  4. Release the keys after a few seconds.
  5. Right-click the Razer Synapse icon in your Windows system tray and select Exit Synapse.
  6. Test the affected keys in a text editor like Notepad.
  7. If the keyboard functions properly with Synapse closed, perform a Clean Re-installation of Razer Synapse to clear out bugged configurations. 
  8. Test Hardware on Another Device
