It seems like the imported profile may not be fully compatible with your Razer Ornata V3 X keyboard. Have you tried creating a custom rainbow wave profile for your keyboard using Razer Synapse software? Here's how you can do it:

  1. Open Razer Synapse software and select your Razer Ornata V3 X keyboard.
  2. Click on the "Lighting" tab.
  3. Select "Wave" from the lighting effect options.
  4. Click on the color palette to select the rainbow colors you want to use for your profile.
  5. Adjust the speed and brightness of the wave effect to your liking.
  6. Save the profile and test it out on your keyboard.

If you still have issues with the rainbow wave effect, you can try updating your Razer Synapse software or contacting Razer support for further assistance.

Ornata V3 X has only 1 lighting zone, so some imported effects will not work correctly.

So does this mean that the keyboard cannot do things like have rgb colors travel from one side of the keyboard to the other?

Very late reply. I just recently got this keyboard not realizing it was lacking in this area and most likely will end up returning it due to this. From what I’m seeing the answer is no it can’t. the whole keyboard’s lighting is considered one single light. All it can do is change color as a whole from one to the next.
