Hello Friends,

First Post here even tho i am a Razer Product Veteran… :D

So i am a pretty successfull MMO player , and that because of the Razer Tartarus Series .

I started with the first Tartarus that had almost a lifespan of 4 years! (pretty OK if u ask me)
then it had issues with the spacebar button and the D-Pad stopped working (mechanical problems)..

So i bought the Tartarus v2 after that because the first Tartarus was dicontinued :(
That one had a lifespan of 8…. Months , spacebar button was way better on the v2!
BUT the D-Pad stopped working (mechanical problem) here too..

Then i got a v2 again , that one had a lifespan of 1,5 years, and yeah you guessed right , the D-Pad was faulty again ( mechanical problem )

And because its so funny i got another v2,…. yeah i cant play without it anymore..
that one had a lifespan of almost 2 full years and well well well, it was the D-Pad again (mechanical problem)….that v2 had its last day today..out of the blue just stopped working..

PLEASE RAZER give us an Analog Joystick or higher quality switches… for the love of god please..

I am not a rich man and cant afford to buy all those tartaruses? , tartari? ah F it…

As a Razer Fan most of the time i feel like a gambling addict, that is sure he will get a functioning Tartarus soon..

I give Razer ONE last chance with the Tartarus Pro, wish me luck guys , i hope this one is better…

EDIT: i also had like 4 Razer Nagas Trinity all with doubleclick Problem, current one is the oldest with a lifespan of almost 3 years, and i guess those switches are the same as in the Tartarus D-Pad...

You are completely correct. Since i’ve bought my Razer Tartarus V2 used (Guy used it for 2 months) i got no support from Razer. I’ve used the keypad for 2 months before the arrow forward on the D-pad broke. So i took matters into my own hands and bought exactly the same replacement microswitches from China and had to replace them 2x already. After the fix they work perfectly again.

How is the Pro version working out for you? I might replace mine cause it’s getting a bit old. But honestly it’s an amazing keypad. Just to bad the D-pad micro switches are sub par.

Pls Razor do some research about those switches. They really are not durable enough. One other tip: Make the keyboard curved so the left side of the keyboard is easyer reachable. I can barely reach 01 and 02 and i got big hands.
