Razer Turret (2019) - XBox One / PC - Nvidia Shield TV

I just bought the Razer Turret (Xbox / PC Edition 2019) to use with my Nvidia Shield TV, to Gamestream my PC to TV. I cannot find a way to get the thumb buttons to work on the mouse, they appear not to detect through Nvidia Gamestream. When I plug the receiver directly into my PC it works no problem so I know it's not hardware related. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix? Also, are there other known limitations I should know of? (ie should I return it?)
